Center Line High School Reviews

This school really could do better. They really need to focus on the students ideas and needs. A student like myself knows that this school does not put their all into creating the best work environment. It needs a lower tolerance for discrimination. Not to menchan they need to get a few bugs out of there system so everything can get out on time. I mean this school isnt the worst school around but its still bad. If they just listened to their students once in a while and not themselves then im pretty sure that this school would be ok.

This school is a great place for students with all different talents and abilities. There academic aspect of the school is great, offering classes to suit teens of all levels of learning. The autistic program is also a great part of the school, this program allows the autistic students to interact with each other and the other students. There are also a large variety of extra-cirricular acctivities to choose from. These activites range from sports, to theatre, quiz bowl, and numerous clubs. Many of the students are involoved in multiple extra-cirricular activities, which helps them learn how to balance time. They learn to balance academics, with physical activity, clubs, friends, family, and still have time for themselves to just relax.

this school is a dissapointment, there idea of traditional teaching is overall unsatisfying. students need more fun and entertainment in there learning...its better to learn in a way all students can connect to. every student is different just like a snow flake. they need to be tought the best way they can learn.

Parent involvement is not always accepted but those that do volunteer do a great job. Classes do not really prepare students for the real world. Filling out applications for colleges, jobs, scholarships are left to the parents & students to do allthough there are block seminar classes that these things could be taught in. Extracurricular activities are abundant if the students are willing to get involved. Many new rules have made the school seem more prison like to students but they have been instituted for the students protection. Students are not prepared for college in class.

Center Line is the best district around...programs were appropriately geared for college preparation and talented staff challenged the students.

The programs at Centerline are some of the best. The children with special needs are catered to. They get what they need to succeed. It is one of the most friendlist schools around. By that I mean the staff. They are kind and are alwasy willing to talk. Some of there programs such as JROTC give teens an edge by finding out early is the Military a good choice for me. The Advanced lasses don't give honor credits so it is up to the teen to get the grade still and not slack off and settle for a B. Students are pushed hard and take a lot of pride in what they do. It is one of the most recognized schools I have seen.

It does offer a lot to students. Also has quite a few classes that will prepare the college bound studnet very well. But this school will not benefit children with 'special' needs.
